There is a discrepency under the head December,05. HRA is shown as 15%, it should be 30%.

i have a question.
on Jan,2006 i was in payscale of 8000-275-13500 with 3 increments.
My promotion to new scale(ie 10000-325-15200) is due on July,06.
plz give me how to calculate the arrear?
There appears to be some inconsistany in the pay scales recommended for the various groups of services. Existing starting pay scale of group 'A' ie 8000-275-13500 which is proposed to be down graded as Asstt. Officer-B. As per the rule, it is not possible to down grade status of any post or group. Will it mean that presently those who are in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-275-13500(Group-A, Jr. Time scale) will be given higher scale equivalent to Rs.10000-325-15200 to maintain the status-quo of group-A ?
I retired on 3lst May 2000 and my last pay was 13350/-in pay scale of l2000-375-l6500 and was given pension of Rs.6563/-.Please let me know what will be my pension after the sixth Pay Commission recommendation.

The downloaded excel sheet is password protected and we can not make any changes in the sheet.
It is therefore requested to give the password and oblige us.
The calculator is working very good. Bur there should be provision to change HRA, CCA & Transport Allowance, as it varies from city to city. Then it would be more usefull.
Excel Sheet is not opening, please make it available, so that one can calculate his arrears and after that put his views at this blog

having password problems, here is the solution,
just download the excel sheet and open in your computer, then press cont+a from your keyword to select the entire sheet. After that press, cont+c to copy the entire sheet, after that open a blank excel sheet and then press cont+v to copy the contents into a new sheet, this will remove the password and now you can edit,

The scale of pay for the post of section officer in the scale of 6500-200-10000 has been merged even with the scale of assistants working in the scale of 5000. is it fair? how can we move this issue to the finance ministry or anybody who can take care of this issue.u see how the morale of the section Officers would be effected who manges work for his istitution and his seniors in a supervisory capacity over all odds

THE CALCULATOR GIVEN AT 6PC.IN IS WRONG AS IT SHOWS 8000-275-13500 IN PAY PAND P-2 HOWEVER THAT IS NOT THE CASE FOR GROUP A ENTRY FOR WHICH THE PAY BAND IS P-3 AS RECOMMENED BY THE COMMISSION.THEY SHOULD RECTIFY THIS ANOMOLY IF THE CALCULATOR IS WORTH ANY SUE

In Group C catagory person in pay range of 4000-100-6000 with more than 10 years of service is getting only 30 % rise as on July 2008. Tha parity between juniors & senior is very very less.
The Postal Assistants working as System administrator is not getting any pay hike in this. Please do something for this.

Why the calculator not taking the merger of pay pre revised scales like 5000,5500,6500 and TA + DA
I feel that in those who are in 5000 and 5500 scales on 1.1.2006 can arrive the new pay in PAY BAND2against the prerevised 6500 (ie.11310+4200=15510)scale due to upgrading and restructing of payscales by the commission. Tell me am I right or wrong PLEASE

I am an Assistant Engineer. On 1.1.2006 my pay scale was Rs.8300/- in the pay scale of Rs.6500-200-10500 . On 1.4.2008, under ACP scheme after 24 years of service, higher pay scale of Rs.10000-325-15900 of Executive Engineer was granted to me.So kindly let me know my basic pay as on 1.1.2006,1.4.2008 & 1.9.2008 and the calculation method.Whether in 6th PC i got next higher complete scale of Ex. Engr. i.e 15600-39000 or only grade pay was of Rs. 6100/-was granted to me.
There is comparisons going on equating Lt Col with Comdts of CPMFs. One should accept Facts and Realities – let it be armed forces. 2IC/ Lt Col rank is lower than CO/Col/Comdt, and not equal, please correct. Lt Col of 14 year service (AVS Committee) time scale promoted officer has no equivalency with Comdt in CPMF who is a Col equivalent officer wearing rank of Colonel, commanding Battalions just as Col and with full authority of HOO. Comdts Command CPMF Battalions (body of troops of 1300 & more having 7 companies) in the volatile anti naxal, anti militant / separatist, anti insurgent or along international border areas and on overseas deployment and they have 2ICs/ Lt Col rank officers under their command. The Lt Cols are either Company (body of 130 troops) commanders, staff officers or 2IC to Cols and can never hold a responsibility or authority equal to the higher position of Comdt of CPMF(or Col in the army). In CPMFs selection is through UPSC and officers are promoted to the rank of Comdts with duly constituted DPCs and not on time scale like Lt Cols. The pay quoted for Lt Col is not correct and one should read the 5th and 4th CPC reports to make it correct, it is only 13,200/ and not S-25 or S-24. Can a Col equate himself with a Maj Gen because he is in the same pay band – never. Its not fair to un-ethically equate ranks in such a manner for financial benefits. These CPMF commanders are the ones who are commanding CPMF Battalions (just like the Cols of an army battalion) during peace and war and have to fight shoulder to shoulder with defence forces. Don’t poison the relationship; give due respect and status to rank.

please ascertain the basic in the revised rate for a person whose basic is 3370 on 1st January 2006 in the scale of 2650-4000. Subsequently he was promoted on 1/09/2006 in the scale of 4000-100-6000.

In pay revision of Inspector in the grade paY OF Rs. 4600/-in 6th pay Commission from 1.01.2006. what about HRA calculation is it from 1.01.2006 or from 1.10.2008. How the calculation of difference of 4600/-grade pay is worked out. How fixation is affected.
