Modified DTC Bill to be tabled. Will IT exemption go up - to 3 Lakhs?

The government is to come up with a modified Direct Taxes Code (DTC) Bill after incorporating the suggestions of the Standing Committee on Finance. Repo rate cut : Home loans and auto loans to be cheaper

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) cutting the repo rate by 25 basis points to 7.25%. With this home loans and auto loans are going to be cheaper. Revision of pension of pre-2006 pensioners

It has been decided that the pension of pre-2006 pensioners as revised w.e.f. 1.1.2006 in terms of para 4.1 or para 4.2 of the aforesaid OM dated 1.9.2008. as amended from time to time, would be further stepped up to 50% of the sum of minimum of pay in the pay band and the grade pay corresponding to the pre-revised pay scale from which the pensioner had retired, as arrived at with reference to the fitment tables annexed to the Ministry of Finance. PFRDA publishes a revised list of required KYC documents

The PFRDA has published a revised list of Know Your customer (KYC) documents required for both entry and exit under National Pension System(NPS). 

This is based on the revised guidelines on obligations under PMLA, 2002 as amended by Prevention of Money Laundering (Amendment) Act. 2009 and also to bring in uniformity and align the KYC documents required for opening of accounts under NPS with those required by other financial sector institutions....
