Govt. to issue order prohibiting govt. staff using social network at office

The central government Wednesday told the Delhi High Court that it will issue an advisory prohibiting government employees from accessing social networking websites through officials systems and networks.A division bench of Acting Chief Justice B.D. LDC/UDC Grade Pay upgradation : Case filed with CAT Jabalpur

The All India Association of Administrative Staff (Non Gazetted) have published in their website that a case for the upgradation of the grade pay of LDC to Rs. 2400 has been filed before the CAT Jabalpur by the Association. Finance ministry issues DA orders

The Ministry of Finance have issued orders for the payment of Dearness Allowance to the Central Government employees at the revised rates. The DA from January 2014 had been hiked to 100% - a hike of 10% from then existing rate. Closing of Central Government Offices during election

Health and Family Welfare Ministry to ensure cashless CGHS facility : CGHS press release

The CGHS have issued a press statement against the media reports on discontinuation of the cashless treatment facility. IT says that only 24 out of 407 private hospitals empanelled under CGHS have discontinued the credit facility to the beneficiaries. NMC pleads for 20% interim relief and DA merger

GPF and similar funds to earn 8.7% interest in 2014-15

It is announced for general information that during the year 2014-2015, accumulations at the credit of subscribers to the General Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of 8.7% (Eight point seven per cent) per annum. Concession to SC/ST officers in PSBs, PFIs, PSICs, RBI, IRDA and PFRDA

I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to say that consequent upon revision of pay scales of Central Govt. employees, Deptt. of Personnel & Training (DOP&T) vide its OM No. 36028/8/2009-Estt.(Res.) dated 7th June, 2013 (copy enclosed) has clarified that provisions of 'concessions to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in posts filled by promotion by Selection in posts falling under Group A(Class-I) would apply to posts within Group A carrying Grade Pay of Rs. 8700 or less.
