Kisan Vikas Patra relaunched

The government relaunched the once popular small savings scheme - the Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP). "In the last 2-3 years, savings rate in country has declined from a record high of 36.8 per cent to below 30 per cent. Inflation Falls to Record Low of 5.52%

7th CPC Memorandum by Comptroller & Auditor General of India

These proposals, while showing the pay scale and grade pay recommended by the 6th Central Pay Commission for each individual cadre, propound a pay scale and grade pay which is deemed to be more appropriate for that cadre given its role, duties and responsibilities. Railway : Old pension scheme applicable to those in temporary status prior to 01.01.2004 and regularized later

Railway board has issued an order clarifying that substitutes who got temporary status prior to 01.01.2004 but regularized/absorbed after 01.01.2004 and after regularization, if the date of appointment is prior to 01.01.2004, in terms of provision of Board's letter No.E(NG)ll/90/SB/Master Circular dated 29.01.1991(M.C. WPI inflation drops to 2.38% - a five year low.

The Wholesale Price Index (WPI) inflation for September 2014 dipped to a 5-year low of 2.38% versus 3.74% in August. This is much below expectations. Inflation data for the month of July was revised to 5.41% versus 5.19% earlier.  Read more...........
