Chhattisgarh hikes Dearness Allowance By 5%: On the International Labour Day, the Chhattisgarh government raised the rates of Dearness Allowance (DA) payable to State Government Employees by 5%. After the increase, state government employees' dearness allowance has increased to 22 per cent of base salary, up from 17 per cent previously.
